Vivid Life Sciences Prizefighter is the Right Choice

When you need to perform a burndown in your field, Vivid Life Sciences Prizefighter is a perfect choice. This organic, non-selective herbicide can be used just about any time of year. There are few exceptions when it comes to the use of Prizefighter making it a perfect alternative to chemicals like Round-Up (Round Up is a trademark of Monsanto Technology, LLC). This product can be used alone or alongside other herbicides and has a ton more advantages that we’ll discuss. Prizefighter is effective against many broadleaf weeds, grassy weeds, and some pests including thrips. If you’re searching for an alternative to popular, but dangerous, chemicals, you’ve found it in Prizefighter. Contact Tech Terra Environmental for more information and to purchase Vivid Life Sciences Prizefighter, an affordable, effective product.

Vivid Life Sciences Prizefighter has Few Limitations

Apply Prizefighter in the spring, summer, or fall. Where other products can only be used during cooler weather, Prizefighter can be used whenever you need it. When it comes to precipitation, Prizefighter only needs a 2-hour application window. Like most herbicides, it should not be used on weeds or grasses wet with dew, but once dry can be used. Worried about rainfall? You only have to ensure that it isn’t going to rain within two hours. One huge advantage of Prizefighter is that it does not pass into the soil and does not translocate to plants. Prizefighter leaves no harmful residues, can show effects in as little as 15 minutes, and is potent to a wide variety of weeds.

Use Prizefighter with Other Herbicides

Prizefighter can be used alone or as a tank mix additive. As with any mixing of products, please follow all labeled instructions and precautions. Avoid mixing with labels that say to not mix with this product or its ingredients. Tank mixing or bucket chemistry has been around a long time. It is used less so now because of the variety and effectiveness of products that are available, but it is still a common practice for agriculture professionals and landscapers alike. Where one product leaves off, another jumps in. Taking care of weeds in a difficult field often requires the use of more than one product. Mixing products can be dangerous and can also have adverse rather than beneficial results. It is important to only mix products you know are safe to use together and make sure have similar application requirements.

How Vivid Life Sciences Prizefighter Works

Vivid Life Sciences Prizefighter is perfect for clearing fields in preparation for planting

To use, mix Vivid Life Sciences Prizefighter herbicide concentrate with water. One-gallon of concentrate yields on average about 10 gallons of ready to use product. Prizefighter kills weeds by breaking down cell walls and destroying the weed from the inside out. The active ingredient in Prizefighter is ammonium nonanoate. This ingredient is approved for use on both food crops and non-crop fields. According to the EPA, ammonium nonanoate has a half life of less than one day which means it has no residual effects. This also means for the product to be most effective, repeated applications are often necessary. Prizefighter is so effective that it is often used for burndowns and seed preparation for fields. Care should be taken to not use Prizefighter after wanted crops have emerged or to get the product on any desired growth because anything Prizefighter touches gets knocked out.
